  The Artists Guild of Anna Maria Island, a non-profit organization, was the first group of organized artists on the island. Its primary objectives are to educate, promote, and encourage artistic endeavors of its members and the community. The education committee works with local schools in supporting arts education, provides an annual 3rd grade field trip to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota and grants a scholarship to a Manatee County High School Senior. Monthly meeting are open to the public. The Guild Gallery, opened in 1990, provides a place for members to display and sell their art. Original art, fine crafts, pottery, photography and jewelry as well as prints and cards on display and for sale. Demonstrations are given monthly. Winter season hours are 10-5, M-F, !0-2, Saturday. Summer hours: 10-4, Tues-F, 10-1 Sat. All subject to change. Call The Gallery for details.
